I grew up just outside of Minneapolis, MN where I received by BFA from the University of Minnesota / Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program, cultivating a love of classical work. I balanced that with an exploration of new works at Actors Theatre of Louisville as part of their Professional Training Company. I've since been living a dream of discovery in my theatrical work, and continue to grow my artistic practice as a multidimensional collaborator. And most importantly, I always stop and smell the roses.

As I move through the world, I am always discovering more clarity and nuance regarding the stories I want to dedicate myself to. I will always hold the classics near and dear to my heart, yet in this chapter of my life, I'm excited about new work that makes space for BIPOC stories, strong and detailed women, hard-to-swallow truths, and messages of love and forgiveness. And if I'm also able to tap into 5-year-old Kaitlyn pouring her heart out on the piano, all the better.
